Some other reviews have remarked that the resort is prettier in person and that photos online don't do it justice - totally agree! We came down to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary and I was so pleasantly surprised. The lodge was lovely, the outdoor pool felt exotic and remote surrounded by greenery, and there is a nature trail! The condo was very accommodating, clean and quiet, kitchen stocked for cooking, and the bed was super comfortable. A beautiful and secure gated little complex. We are definitely planning to stay here again in the future.

We liked the location. It was private but also close to Walmart. The communal areas were very nice. The outdoor pool felt like a tropical oasis. The indoor pool was a lot of fun for my younger kid. On one of the rainy nights, my kids spent a couple hours in the arcade and then checked out some board games. If I was writing just on the communal areas, I would give a five star. I was disappointed in the rooms. We got two condos for our large family. The wooden steps up to the loft were very dated. They had replaced some slats, but not all. There were a couple of nails sticking up. The stairs up to the loft did not appear to be vacuumed. I found a blue M&M on the steps. One of our doors was missing the security lock. One of our chandeliers was missing a piece. There was something smeared on the side of my daughter‘s nightstand in the loft. The worst thing was the lighting seemed to have crossed wires. Multiple nights our light would randomly turn on in our room and we would turn it off and it would turn back on. We would have to spend about 10 minutes turning our light off before it would stay off and we could get some sleep. Don’t know if it was crossed with the condo below us. We got housekeeping, halfway through our stay, and that was very nice.

Great area, some of the front desk ladies while arriving were not very friendly. Second day in my son slipped and fell in the inside pool resulting in 3 Staples to the back of the head. (Great way to start vacation) I finally asked to do an incident report when I went to hand in the pool towel. If the big children weren't going nuts on the slide making the water go all the way out to the walking area I believe this could have been resolved. was told I would hear from a manager and haven't heard a single thing almost a week later. We couldn't do much but hang out in the hotel for 7 days 🙃 great area! I do wish they recycled and took better precautions with their turtle nests. Maybe power washing the balcony furniture and walls so they aren't full of bugs webs and spiders as well. (They also don't replace the waterproof cover on the pull out coach which is kinda gross so we did wash that ourselves) Beach is literally 2 minutes away with parking! Overall a decent stay for our uneventful plans.
