We are cycling through Slovenia and loved this night's stop! The hotel is beautiful. The owners are delightful. And the peaceful setting gave us the rest we needed to continue our journey. Be sure to take advantage of the wine tasting and the delicious dinner at the restaurant below the restaurant. Highly recommend!
My partner and I stayed here in July 2024 while on a self-guided hiking vacation. It was truly a highlight of our vacation. The hosts have created a jewel of a hotel in the middle of farmlands and vineyards. Their hospitality and the quality of the food and wine were worthy of a high-end hotel and restaurant in a major city, without a doubt the best we had during our time in Slovenia. The restaurant is a true farm-to-table experience and prepared with care and love, and all this in a beautiful farmland setting. If you ever have the opportunity to stay at Hiša Posebne Sorte, do!—You'll be raving about this hidden treasure.
Rude and slow staff, food was even worse. Awful food. Out of 3 dishes we got, the best one was 3 ravioli stuck together, drowning in the sour tomato sauce. And it just went down from there. Absolutely don’t recommend it as a wedding venue—maybe they can manage better with smaller crowds.
