HK Hotel Düsseldorf City

My mom and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, small hotel—we truly enjoyed our time there! As a physically disabled woman who uses a power wheelchair full-time, I was very pleased with the hotel's accessibility and the comfort of our room. The location was also incredibly convenient, with nearby bus and train stations that made it easy for us to get around. The staff were very helpful and kind throughout our stay. Although we entered the hotel through the backyard, which was really accessible, it would be great to have an accessible front entrance without stairs as well. In the rooms, a higher and automatic bed would be a welcome addition. It would also be helpful if breakfast included a few more options and was available until at least 11 a.m. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

The staff are super helpful. I enjoyed every moment of my stay there. I just wish they add a small fridge to single rooms. Generally, I highly recommend this hotel.

A hotel without AC in 2025, in the midst of global warming, should be illegal, and in fact it was barely possible to sleep due to the June heat. Also, pretty much everything is old and worn-out and just not very clean. The breakfast is barely decent (but still the best thing overall). On the last night, a new client was given the card to my room and barged in while I was sleeping at 6am. Stay away. (Disclaimer: the room was booked by the university; I would never pick this place myself.)
