Service was good. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent. The spa looked like a good size, though we did not test it out. Main complaints/room for improvement: fitness facilities are inadequate - there are two cardio machines and one small weight bench with weights up to about 10 kg which is simply not enough origin of the size. They need weights up to at least least 25 to 30 kg and another bench would go a long way. Finally, the hotel does not provide any parking services which was quite inconvenient. They apparently have a sister hotel where you can park for €15 per day, though it’s be much better if they offered a valet service for that option.

We stayed for just one night and honestly wish we hadn’t. The only positive was the location: very close to the town center, which made getting around easy. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was far from pleasant. I had reached out both by email and phone prior to our arrival to ask about parking, but never received a response. When we arrived, we were told there was public parking available for €15 at another hotel about five minutes away. In reality, it took closer to 8–10 minutes due to the confusing streets and access. The biggest issue, however, was the reception staff: incredibly rude, unfriendly, and completely unhelpful. Not once did we get a smile or feel welcome. The room itself was clean and newly renovated, but completely lacked character — it felt sterile and cold. To make things worse, it was located right next to the staff cleaning area, and we were woken up early in the morning by the sound of doors being slammed repeatedly. Overall, this was an experience to forget. We would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

A Disappointing Renovation at Jaime Tercero, Palma de Mallorca After hearing that Hotel Jaime Tercero had undergone a full year-long renovation, we were curious to see the transformation and decided to stop by for a drink. Unfortunately, what we found was deeply disappointing. To our surprise, the hotel looked almost identical to how it was before—if not worse. The renovation is, quite frankly, appalling. The lobby in particular is shockingly underwhelming. It lacks warmth, character, or any inviting design element. Instead, it resembles a sterile bathroom or a dentist’s waiting room—dark, cold, and devoid of colour or charm. This is, without doubt, one of the most underwhelming renovations I’ve ever seen. The overall aesthetic is utterly unappealing and, in my opinion, the hotel now looks worse than it did before the refurbishment. It’s a real shame, especially considering the time and effort supposedly put into this overhaul. I have no idea who was responsible for the design choices—whether the interior designers or architects—but it’s hard not to question their vision and taste. It’s truly disappointing that this is the final result after a full year of work.
