Hoang Yen Hotel 1

We spent 5 days at Hoang Yen hotel. Staff is nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok, I prefer sticky rice. Facilities are new, good and well maintained in spite of the fact that the hotel was built long time ago.  We definitely come back next time when we arrive in Quy Nhon.

Nice beach view with good service. I Breakfast was ok. Super fast walk to the beach. The wifi is good room service did a great job. The swimming pool was closed unfortunately during my 2 night stay. The amenities in the mini bar were nice and some of the tea was free. Air conditioning remote was super annoying. The air conditioner unit on the porch is very dangerous. I accidentally touched it and got electrocuted and my finger was a bit numb. Hotel should have grounded them. Also the bathtub was too high and didn’t have a shower curtain, so water splashed all over the place when showering. The items during breakfast were great besides a plum I got with a maggot in it. Overall it’s a nice place to stay but with a few inconveniences. I’d recommend not going close to the air conditioning unit and choosing your plums carefully.

The positives: Hotel located in close to the night market, the main part of the town and on the beach. The ocean view is nice and this part of the beach is swimmable, even in December. Join the locals in early morning and late afternoon and swim out the the buoy line. Breakfast is ok, not great. Need to improve: Room is very old and need major upgrade. Patio door has gap. Room is old and musty. Bathroom smell after taking a shower - something to do with the sewage line. Towers are also old.....
