Hokitika Fire Station Boutique Accommodation

This accommodation is outstanding. We stayed in the downstairs Chief Millard room with a lovely little outdoor area for your morning coffee in the sun. Everything in the rooms was so beautiful and lots of great touches, like the coffee machine. Bed was very comfy and the apartment was so warm. Service was amazing and they treated my partner to one of their T-shirts for his birthday. Definitely recommend and would stay again when back in Hokitika

Loved our stay here. We stayed in the wheelchair accessible apartment, which was perfect for us all and the features needed for wheelchair use. Location is great. Apartment has beautiful finishing touches, check in and use of all features super easy. Would have loved to stay another night and if I am ever back in the area will be sure to stay again. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Hokitika Fire Station boutique accommodation! From start to finish, everything was spot on. The pre-arrival communication was excellent – we had all the check-in details well ahead of time, which made arriving super easy and stress-free. The location couldn’t be better – just a short stroll to the main street with all the lovely cafes, shops and restaurants. It’s such a convenient base for exploring Hokitika. Plus, the parking was great – plenty of space and right outside, which was a bonus. The rooms were amazing – spacious, stylish, and full of character with lovely touches that made it feel really special. The shower was brilliant too – strong pressure and plenty of hot water, which is always appreciated after a day out exploring. Honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend if you’re heading to the West Coast. We’ll definitely be back!
