Stayed overnight before flying off on holiday. The staff were incredibly helpful and happy, the room was immaculate and well presented. The food was nice with a good choice. They offer a vehicle stay with shuttle to and from the airport which we paid for, they called the room to let us know when it was ready and just had to call them when we returned. So I would recommend this, just don't park under the trees when they are in bloom as the sap is horrendous lol

Very late check in after a return flight from holiday. Smooth check-in with all facilities explained. Breakfast was above standard for a buffet offering. BUT. If you want black pudding or freshly prepared eggs, allow a bit of time.

The room was fine, the bed comfortable and the aircon powerful, important on a weekend like the one spent there. There good things ended. Check in was completely incompetent. When another assistant was called from the back office to help with the queue she fumbled around. I had a confirmed reservation/ reservation number but that didn't seem to help. She told me she wasn't used to the system as she had only been there 5 days. I politely enquired if I could see the manager and she said that was her 😢. The bar was slow and the assistant had clearly never poured a Gin before nor had he heard of diet tonic (although it was established that the 200 bottles of tonic light available were, in fact, the same thing) We were there two nights. No-one serviced the room at any point. Breakfast on the 2nd morning was a shambles. Lack of food, very slowly replenished, if at all. Food from the kitchen undercooked (the eggs were medium rare). Coffee from what looked like a decent machine weak and watery. The truth is that they were desperately short of staff and not only didn't food appear but tables were not cleared. An experience to miss.
