The room was pretty old but the food was excellent. We had some issues in our room but the food made it all good . The bacon was supper fresh all the continental food was amazing. The staff offered us some chocolate pancakes and they were really good the buffets were supper good having things around the world. Thanks to all the staff members.

We decided to stay for three nights. Unfortunately, the rooms we received (we had two) were in poor condition. Most of the staff were friendly, but one employee was quite rude on our last day due to a miscommunication. It's surprising that someone with such poor customer service skills is working at the reception desk. He might be better suited for a role in cleaning or cooking, away from direct customer interaction. I don't want to single out employees publicly, but proper training for staff is important. Despite this incident, I wouldn't give a zero-star rating based on one person's behavior, as the overall experience was good. The food was excellent, and everyone enjoyed it. This minor incident was the only downside to our stay.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Holiday Inn. I booked this hotel for my wedding in October 2024, signed a contract, and even paid an advance. However, two months before my wedding, the hotel shut down unexpectedly, and not a single staff member or manager informed us about it. They kept telling us that the hotel would reopen, right up until the last moment. My guests were flying in from Australia and Canada, with their tickets already booked, and we had no idea the venue wouldn't be available. This caused us an enormous amount of stress, especially since I had come to the hotel early in March 2024 to finalize everything and had been assured of a smooth process. With just 3-4 weeks left before the wedding, I had to scramble to find a new venue as we couldn’t change the date. Now, the hotel is reopened, and they are not even talking about a refund for our advance. However, they claim we need to get the money back from the old owner, not the hotel chain, despite us having trusted the Holiday Inn brand (an international IHG hotel).We gave our money to a hotel chain not a person so this is complete bullshit. This entire situation has been a nightmare, and I would strongly advise against booking anything with this hotel. The management and communication were terrible, and they completely ruined an important day for us. Save yourself the trouble and choose somewhere else.
