Holiday Inn Ellesmere Port Cheshire Oaks by IHG

Staying 8 nights due to working nearby and I have only positive things to say. The staff are so friendly and helpful, each and every one has been lovely. I,m working Nightshifts so the staff have been especially kind. The food is really good essentially the burger " one of the tastiest burgers I've eaten. I work all over the UK, staying in hotels and this one is my favourite so far.Wish I had read about the gym etc but next visit I will bring my gym gear. Hoping to spend many more visits at this hotel. Shout out to Ashley and Honey who have been so helpful, wish I knew more names because to be honest everyone so far have been great.

Thought I was booking the Travel Lodge at Cheshire Oaks but wasn’t. So glad I made that mistake. Location is excellent, just a few minutes down the road from CO. Rooms are a little old but they are clean, plenty of clean white towels and the bed is super comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with excellent produce being used and everything that you needed and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in for food on the first night which to be honest was a little disappointing. I would say that most items were frozen but that probably isn’t the hotels fault, the menu would have been decided on further up the line. What I would recommend the hotel for is every member of staff and the service that they provide. Nothing was too much trouble for everyone. The ladies who served breakfast were amazing, the guys on the bar who happily provided us with a glass of milk each evening for our granddaughter and all staff members who we didn’t get to see. A big shout out goes to Elle on reception. She is the embodiment of who you need in that role, warm, welcoming and someone who nothing is too much trouble for. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed here last night with my husband & twin babies. From the word go, the staff were fantastic. They were so friendly, helpful & approachable. This applied to every staff member we met, from reception, to waiting staff, bar staff, housekeeping & even security (they had a few security people there due to a large wedding). We were very tired & stressed due to travelling a long distance with 6 month old babies, & losing a very important bag along the way. But the staff nevertheless made our stay very comfortable & enjoyable. Thank you to all the staff!!🙏😊
