Holiday Inn Express Akron NW Fairlawn

I recently booked a room at your hotel after a tiring flight from Atlanta for the funeral of my dearly departed uncle. I was met by a gracious and very kind host by the name of Gail. Gail went the extra mile and extended grace and kindness by allowing me to check in early and get the rest and solace that I needed before the service of my family member. She went the extra mile to assure me that if I needed anything that she would do her best to assist. Gail is an exemplary employee and certainly deserves to be recognized for representing your brand to its fullest potential. Thank you, Gail. I will make sure that Holiday Inn Express in Fairlawn will always be my first choice.

Stayed there for two days and let’s just say the room smelled stale the blankets have stains we took the blankets off and the mattress protector should have been thrown away MONTHS ago what a shame. The shower had no soap to use the bottle was empty the tub needs a good cleaning it had a ring of dirt. Great shopping area which I liked about it. My wife complained the whole time especially when she went swimming and no towels she had to come back up to the room for towels which we used for two days nobody came to check on us.

This hotel is absolutely terrible. Management doesn't fix the property purposefully and nearly everything is broken, from the hot water to the handicap accommodations. They say it was refurbished, but that's a lie. There are no managers on property, they work for the hotel next door and pay no attention to this property. It doesn't matter if you complain about your experience, nothing will be done about it. All staff outside of management are wonderful, perfectly polite. I feel they should find another hotel to work for, this one is horrendous.
