This hotel is located in an upscale place and we got the 19th floor after missing one day of check in due to a delayed flight. Best views from the top overlooking the skyline, church, and ocean. The bathroom is great, bed is perfect, love the chocolate they left even though were not Michael and its probably for a past guest. Breakfast is provided and very nutritious, bussers are friendly and take your dish each time.

Stayed here for 8 nights and would say it’s exactly what you'd expect from a solid 4-star hotel — no more, no less. The location is unbeatable for tourists: walking distance to everything in central Auckland. I had a room on the 11th floor with incredible sunset views 🌇. The room was pretty basic, but having Chromecast was a big plus! Breakfast was okay, though it started to feel repetitive. Tip: if you're staying longer, ask the receptionist to check with the chef for something special. I also tried their breakfast boxes twice — perfect for early tour departures (around 6:30am), just remember to order one in advance. Bar had a small but well-selected wine list. Not a ton of options, but good quality. Why 4 stars and not 5? Mainly the housekeeping. My coffee cups weren’t cleaned or replaced once, and some trash was left behind even from the previous guest. Not terrible, but definitely below standard. Bed wasn’t made properly either. For housekeeping, I'd give 2/5. Still, for ~70€ a night, great value. If you're in town for tourism and not planning to stay in the room all day, I’d definitely recommend it! 😊

Really slow check in and reception. Hold ups with continuing to serve non English speaking customers with a long list of demands (different floor, different bed, room service...) all done with phone translation while queues form. It took a long time for my check in to be completed and, even then, my extended stay request was not actioned which meant my lift/room key stopped working. That was stressful. They did apologize and allow me to store my bags on the last day. Information in the room about the hotel's facilities would have been helpful. Surfaces in my room not wiped down over the 4 nights I was there. Coffee not replaced. Loud aircon but no road noise which was fabulous. Quite a small room. Delicious range of complementary breakfast products. Hot food wasn't. Bacon not all fully cooked. Some looked a bit pink. Great central location.
