Holiday Inn Express Cartagena Bocagrande by IHG

This was our third time and gets better every time. The rooms are so spacious. The breakfast is the best I have ever had. Antonio (was so helpful), Ruth (surprised with bday card and snacks) and Gildardo (kept us with amazing tropical drinks) were the absolute best. Mayra was so friendly and helpful and gave the greatest recommendations. Walking distance to everything. Until next time Cartagena.

Good value. Rooms were ok with good air conditioning. Fridge was a plus and fantastic room service and front desk. Morning breakfast was one of the best included that I ever had. Also enjoyed rooftop bar and nice bartenders.

There always seems to be something that doesn't work or goes wrong when I stay here. Last trip they lost 3 expensive shirts I had laundered for work, found them 2 days later!! This time my fridge didn't work,so they brought a new one up. Wellington was the outlet so that one didn't work either. Told the maintenance man when he came up to check. Nothing got fixed. I pulled thefridge out and plugged it into another outlet so I could keep things cold. Clock radio never worked and they forgot yo leave me coffee service one day. Stains on bedspread and desk chair, so not the cleanest either. Saw a roach on the wall during g breakfast service one day. Staff is friendly but I feel they could do amuch better job when there is a problem and with cleanliness.
