I had heard that hotels in Shanghai had become quite expensive, but this hotel, about 30 minutes by car from the airport, was good value for money for foreigners. It was new, clean, and stylish. The staff were very kind. Perhaps because it is a well-reviewed hotel. There were quite a lot of people using this hotel, and even though it was late at night, there were quite a few people on board. There is also a shuttle bus from the airport. (Reservation required) It also runs at night, but at intervals. At Pudong International Airport's Terminal 2, the bus left from Exit 26 on the third floor. I had even sent a photo of my face, but when I got on the bus, I was asked if I had called. I told them I had a reservation, and they let me on without any problems. The next day, there was one bus to Disneyland in the morning and one in the evening. The bus leaves at 7:00 in the morning, but you have to be at the front desk by 6:50. You can leave your luggage there, but there is only one bus that comes back at night (around 10pm?), so if you leave early, you will have to take a taxi back by yourself. In my case, it took 30 minutes and just under 60 yuan to get there from the taxi stand at Disneyland. You need to make a reservation for the shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport. It runs about every 2 hours? The staff were very nice. It's a world of difference from when I first went to China about 20 years ago. It's also different from China 10 years ago. When I was speaking in my poor Chinese, they used a translator to translate the conversation, so it was very easy to understand. ⭐︎ On the bus from the hotel to Disneyland, they accepted applications for tours with a guide. I think it was 168 yuan per person? I paid with WeChat. They looked up popular places and places that were available, and took us around efficiently. They also made reservations for food and brought it to us, which was very helpful. I was the only Japanese person there, so they were very considerate. For me, it was the perfect hotel!
A great hotel, smart, convenient, bathroom with dry and wet separation 👍🏻 The next morning, I rushed to the airport bus and didn't have time to eat breakfast. The hotel staff also thoughtfully prepared simple and convenient bags, which was great 👍🏻 The breakfast looked very rich and delicious 😋, but it was a pity that I didn't have time to eat it 😔 The waiter was great and patient, and responsive, giving five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a pity that I didn't take a photo as a souvenir In addition, the sound insulation of the room facing the road is a bit poor, and the cars outside can be heard clearly. I hope it will be improved next time I go 😁
We booked this hotel intending to catch our early morning flight from Terminal 2 of PVG airport. From the map, the hotel seemed close to the airport, but the free shuttle, which must be booked in advance, takes about thirty minutes to reach the terminal. The hotel staff is very kind and professional, but they do not speak English. However, thanks to their wonderful portable translator, we were able to communicate without too much difficulty. The hotel is located in an isolated area, and there are no restaurants or shops nearby. Fortunately, the receptionist helped us order food, which was delivered directly to our room by a robot. The hotel is modern and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the hotel met our needs for a short pre-flight stay. It would be helpful if there was more information in English and more dining options nearby, but the kindness of the staff and the comfort of the rooms compensated for these shortcomings.
