Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Dartmouth

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The amenities were clean, the staff (for the most part) were friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. My autistic son especially loved the pool — it quickly became the highlight of our stay. Watching him feel so free and joyful in that space meant everything to us. However, we were disappointed to learn that guest services does not allow the sale of day passes. For families like ours, especially those with children on the autism spectrum, access to familiar and therapeutic environments like a pool can make a huge difference. Not being able to return, even just for a few hours, was difficult for my son and affected his routine. We’re grateful for the time we had and hope that in the future, more flexible or inclusive options will be considered. Still, we truly appreciated our stay and would recommend this hotel to other families, especially those traveling with neurodiverse children.

really enjoyed my stay here at the holiday inn. the staff were all lovely and helpful, the rooms were clean and smelled fresh, and the complimentary breakfast was exactly what we needed before a long drive. we initially had difficulties with our first room because of the nightmare people partying next door, but the next day we were moved to a much better and quieter room. the staff were helpful with this and were very considerate.

I found it was in a good location not far from shopping, food or entertainment. I found it quiet we stayed Friday evening and Saturday evening. The breakfast is good very good selection fruit,yogurt,boiled eggs,eggs,sausage, potatoes hash browns , toast, bagels, Cinnamon Buns! Make your own pancakes too! Juice coffee and tea.. Also a piece of clothing was left there and the front desk staff cleaning Staff and food prep staff were great got the clothing shipped back home. I will definitely stay there again.
