Brand new hotel. We were greeted quickly and courteously. Room was HUGE by our usual European standards. Bed comfy. Breakfast was AMAZING. And the roof lounge becomes a bar later in the day with a great beer and wine list and a lovely cocktail menu, plus a GREAT view. Location was convenient to walking, tram and taxis. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Nice comfortable hotel. Walking distance from the city centre! However unclear parking rules: first night we arrived at 10pm, underground parking was « full » and we could park in front of the entrance. Next day i asked if i should park underground and they said yes for 15€. I asked if i just could park free again outside the building and they replied « we dont recommend that ». There were more then 10 cars parked that evening before the entrance…
I had a terrible experience at breakfast with my boys. I went to eat with a 19months old and a 5 months old, expecting to put my 19 months old in a high chair. Got there and couldn’t even find anyone to help me get the chair. The waiter pointed at it so I get it, after clearly seeing me with a 5 months old in hand and a 19months old. Even worse, they couldn’t set it up so my toddler could sit in it. Had to sit him on a normal chair and oh my, he went crazy and started screaming. Mind you I am on a trip, hopping from one hotel to another and its the first time in 6 days that I have such a terrible experience. My toddler hit himself several times on the edge of the table as he couldn’t reach. He hit the table a few times with Cutlery falling to the floor. Not once did any employee come to check or anything. I would give a zero star if I could… other than poor service, rooms are good and love the sofa bed.
