Holiday Inn Express Xi'an Bell Tower by IHG

This is an affordable and centralized location for your visit to Xi'an. Room amenities are on par with the hotel's description and are upkept with a kind staff. If you are an English speaking individual a translator for anything but simple questions is needed. They are patient and understanding of the language barrier. My room was on the far end of the hall, which had an adjacent outside wall. There was a rhythmic thumping happening in the evening well into the night. I sleep pretty deeply but it still bothered me some. The USB plugs need to be replaced, the ones near the bed were no longer working with cables and the one near the desk area were slow charging. Breakfast was hat and had a lot of options but only basic western options if that is a concern. If you use Google maps, be aware the location is wrong. It is a couple hundred yards South of the bell tower circle, enterance just inside an ally. I would consider staying here again.......as long as it is not in a low number room. Sorry about the lack of photos for this review. I simple forgot. I have one of their robot though.

Would have given a 5-star if the nightclub nearby isn't driving me crazy at 2am. It was ok when I first checked in on a Thursday night, but Fri and Sat nights were simply insane. I could hear (and feel) the bass throughout the night until 4am+. Barely got any sleep. The hotel is very aware of the noise and gives out complimentary earplugs, but those aren't enough. Otherwise, location is good and place is clean.

Great location, quiet. Water available at every lift entry and in room. Free laundry. Rooms a little dated and cleaning could be improved
