Holiday Inn Fortaleza by IHG

We came to Fortaleza to visit family, and this hotel became our home away from home. The lobby was very welcoming and absolutely pristine, very artfully designed as well. The staff was incredibly courteous and professional, working around the clock to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The front desk reception staff are adept problem-solvers--there was an issue with our room reservations, but they patiently and kindly worked out a solution. And they're just always so friendly and accommodating. They really took care of us, and we're very appreciative of everyone. We always felt very safe, as well. Everyone was very professional and hard-working, and we especially want to thank Julio!! He was great. The food at the breakfast buffet was also amazing, and the kitchen and dining room staff did an excellent job. Whenever we return to Fortaleza for family, we'll definitely stay at this Holiday Inn again. It was a fantastic experience. The rooms were also wonderfully spacious, perfect for a large family of 5. The beds were luxuriously comfortable, and the shower water pressure was perfect. It was also very convenient how close everything is, just a short walk from the hotel, whether your destination is the beach or a store. We couldn't have been happier with our experience, and we thank the Holiday Inn staff in Fortaleza for helping to make that possible.

It is a fine hotel, but I am uncomfortable with the security guard at the lobby watching my every movement. He has the opposite effect, and makes me feel unsafe. The security cameras inside especially for the pool has me thinking the person watching the security cameras is a true pervert. Keep your children fully clothed. Dont't believe what they say, use your eyes. They can do whatever they want with those images of your kids. So bad!

Very good hotel at reasonable cost. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The daily cleaning system is splendid. Beds are comfortable. Daily buffet breakfast in the restaurant is very good, much better than the US hotels. It is loaded with fresh fruit of many types, omelets, fried eggs, breads of several varieties, etc. In the room, the kitchenette is very basic without a microwave or a usable refrigerator. The tiny refrigerator is filled with drinks and candies that cost you if consumed. Hotel staff and the restaurant servers are extremely polite and helpful.
