Holiday Inn Glasgow East Kilbride by IHG

We stayed in a suite. Room number 300. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Like sleeping on a cloud. Best night's sleep I've had in ages! The suite had two rooms and a bathroom. In the living area there was a sofa bed. It suited me, my partner and our teenager. A TV in both rooms although only one of the remotes worked. But it worked for both tellies so problem solved. Would've preferred the coffee machine in the bedroom rather than the living area. Two showers in the bathroom. One cubicle and one over a bath. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and handsoap provided. Food and drinks are expensive here but lots of places to eat out nearby. We stayed here to visit family.

Checked in April 25th,room was spacious and clean but no complimentary water,had 2 terrible sleeps as generator noise was too loud,dined in the restaurant first evening and was asked to pay meal before being served which I found very strange! No ice for my g&t as they had ran out! Staff were friendly enough especially breakfast staff ,the breakfast was best I’ve had,great choice and quality! Especially the link sausage so delicious ,overall nice clean hotel but lacked atmosphere for my taste

I’m right now staying in this hotel, hotel it self it’s good but the service is pathetic. Today is my second day here, they did not give any room service no cleaning no bedding change, I am with my small children’s for holidays and they ruin our holidays , what they expect from us we should bring vacuum's from our home to clean the room. The room is extremely dirty. The dustbins are full and we don’t have any place to put more garbage so the garbage is coming out from the dustbins, no tissue rolls in the bathrooms no towel change no bedding change at all. I have called several times on reception they said cleaners are gone at their home If you guys are charging guests on weekends then you must provide services also on weekends.. Very disappointed ☹️
