Holiday Inn Guangzhou Airport Zone

A good hotel near the airport, little far from the main centre but the hotel offers free shuttle drop off and pick to the airport has a really good breakfast, it's clean, modern, all the people working at the hotel are very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel

It was a good time I spent in this hotel. Stayed here for 1 night only, between my flights. It not very far from the airport, maybe around 20-30 min go by car. Room facilities was good, you can find basics things what you will need in the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, "eat-all-you-can" style, with the various choice of food, and even hot meals for the breakfast, such as noodles or fried rice, etc. Also, near hotel there are one convenient store, but they accept only RMB, so please be prepared.

Overall the experience wasn’t bad. The room was clean and tidy, nice facilities and lots of complementary coffee/ tea / shampoos etc, however for the hotel to me in the airport zone it was a very long way away from the airport. Had to take a taxi (which no one took eftpos so make sure you bring cash with you, because money exchange was a nightmare) through very dodgy off roads and some paths that didn’t even resemble roads. In our experience there was one worker at the hotel desk that was very accommodating with helping us order food at the hotel restaurants ect as the hotel staff didn’t speak English. Location isn’t great, some shops around but it’s quite a scary / little bit dodge area. Overall it was ok, roof over our head for a decent price.
