Holiday Inn Gwangju by IHG

It was my first time in Gwangju, and I think Holiday Inn made it really special. It feels like life slowed down here. The pros: - Amazing breakfast! And the amazing staff who go out of their way to really remember the guests. - Beautiful view. I was lucky enough to get a good view from my room. - Great facilities! They have a well-equipped gym, a sauna, and a pool. The women's room also had hairdryers, hairspray, and skincare products. - English speaking staff. Check-in was super quick and easy, and they are all friendly. The cons: - A bit far from the shops and restaurants. During the early morning, you have to go on a stroll for the nearest convenience. - Gym isn't open until 7 am (I believe). Which might be a little late if you are here for business. The hotel can be very quiet, too, especially if there's no convention or event happening. If you are here for business, this is the perfect hotel!

Every morning, we went for breakfast, and as far as the service we've got from Mr Kong, we were so happy that he was there every morning to greet us. Excellent service, and he even remembered our room number. Not too many agents are going their out of the way to give them excellent services to the guests. Thank you, and we will come back to visit again.

While the initial impression of the brand's holiday experience may have been underwhelming, the Gwangju location presents a significantly enhanced experience. The area's exceptional convenience and meticulously maintained environment contribute to a notably pleasant atmosphere. We anticipate a return visit in the near future.
