Excellent hotel! Clean and bright. Staff are nice and helpful. The gym room is clean and beautiful. Sauna is clean and spacious also. Breakfast is quite good but it will be appreciated if more warm foods are provided. I have also tried the hotel dinner (pasta), which is very delicious😋, and the serving size is sufficient. Although it is not in the city center but the train and tram from helsinki central station to nearest station are very frequent.
We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Helsinki and would highly recommend it. It is centrally located and it’s possible to walk just about anywhere in the city. You’ll also probably have a great view of the city from just about any room in the hotel. They also offered us a free room upgrade with a free beverage– something we didn’t request but it was greatly appreciated. Breakfast at this hotel was not included in our room rate.
Unfortunately, the room service was really bad. I wonder what they're even doing there. The shampoo and body wash are empty, the table hasn't even been wiped down, and nothing. Even the bed looks better after I've done it over the week.
