Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites St.Catharines Niagara by IHG

On Monday August 4 2025 My wife, son and I came here at 4:00 am looking for a place to sleep. We had drove in from Bradford Ont to visit our first Grandchild at the hospital. In our hast to get there we did not plan for a place to stay. Here at the Holiday Inn they welcomed us and gave us a great deal so we could sleep for 6 hours. Unbelievable how accommodating they were. I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay here. Thank you for being such good people. Oh and our Grandson was born at 11:58 pm on the Sunday the 3. 9lbs even 21" long and beautiful. love you all have a great stay at the Holiday Inn.

Stayed at this hotel for a dance competition and we were there for a 4 night stay. Hotel was great with excellent restaurants, friendly staff with amenities near by. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and arcade. There is also a large and modern bowling alley. Elevators are on the smaller side and tend to run slow so we often used the stairs; as such luggage carts are smaller as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we stay there again. Thank you

I will say that the staff we interacted with was especially friendly and never had a bad interaction. Everyone was ready to help us when needed. The room was clean upon arrival, however we were placed on a floor with a baseball team of young boys that was EXTREMELY LOUD both in the morning and at night, despite the 10pm quiet time sign. My son and sister were both woken up by them yelling and running back and forth multiple times. I get that they are having fun, but I was not happy. I believe we were placed on that floor because my 2 year old son was with me, but that should not be the case. Also, when I went to wash my hair in the shower, I was really annoyed that the conditioner was completely empty which made me feel like the bathroom was ignored by the housekeepers. My other issue was that I paid for breakfast at this hotel when booking and was only given two breakfast vouchers for adults, meaning my sister who was the 3rd adult in the room, along with my son, didn't get the breakfast free. Not sure how that makes sense when I paid an extra 30/night for her to stay in the room with us. The waitress was very nice and the breakfast was great, though. Overall, our stay was nice but could definitely work on a couple things. I would stay here again when we come back so I can enjoy the bowling and arcade.
