Holiday Inn Hull Marina by IHG

It was a really pleasant stay. The hotel is very well maintained and the staff were so helpful. We called the morning of our stay as we knew we'd get there earlier than expected and asked if an early check in would be possible, the receptionist (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name!) was happy to help and we were surprised that a room was ready for us as soon as we arrived - we expected to have to wait a little bit at least given how early we were. The breakfast the next day was amazing and set us up very well for the day. The hotel is situated in the beautiful marina area of Hull, where we used to live for a number of years previously so it was really nice to be back and we will definitely stay with the Holiday Inn Hull Marina again when we visit.

We stayed for a night. Really lovely and helpful staff. We requested a view of the marina which we didn't manage to get which was a bit disappointing but we didn't know it was something we could ask for until we an email regards a week before arrival so it was just a hope rather than a necessity. However, the room we got was OK,little more basic and needing a bit of a refurb than ones we have had previous but it was all good for one night. I cant fault the staff,so welcoming and helpful. Really went above and beyond. The lady who checked us in really loves her job and it set off our stay. Beautiful location right on the marina, lots of pubs, food nearby. Parking covered for the full following day so we didnt have to worry whilst we had a wander around the shops. Will definitely be back.

Lovely hotel, nice balcony from room. Evening food and breakfast good. Nice view from balcony to part of canal. Alot of parking, which usually decides where I stay with a big van. Only lost a star as my usual tipple was unavailable and the 330 bottles were nearly the same price. Ventured into center of hull and seemed a poor rundown area once passed the shopping center.
