Holiday Inn Ipswich by IHG

I had a good stay here. Reception was very friendly and welcoming, they upgraded my room which was a pleasant surprise. Pillows were very comfortable as was the bed linen. Couple of points that make the room a little tired are inside the bathroom the paint on the base of the door was peeling away and the overall rooms furniture is not as modern as could be. However, the walk in shower was great and the room was very clean.

Nice hotel. Rooms are a little small, but beds are super comfy, good water pressure in the shower. Danielle on reception was superb at chrck in; professional, warm and welcoming. Minor point: the fire doors don't have soft closing and slam shut loudly which can disturb sleep and the peace. But lovely quiet hotel and got a great night sleep.

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn in Ipswich was fantastic, and I can't say enough about the service. Jake in the Friday night bar was an absolute star. He crafted amazing drinks and served up some of the most incredible pizza I've had. His friendly service and top-notch skills truly made our evening. Beyond the bar, the hotel's breakfast was really good, with an amazing choice of food. The staff were incredibly helpful, and it was great to see that vegetarian sausages were readily available. The hotel's facilities were also great. While the jacuzzi in the pool area was a little on the small side, the gym was well-equipped, and the staff were very helpful. Overall, a brilliant stay. Jake's amazing service, the excellent food, and the helpful staff make this a hotel I'd definitely recommend.
