My stay at Holiday Inn Express Istanbul City was fantastic. The value for the price was truly impressive. The hotel offered clean and comfortable rooms with all the essentials I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. For anyone visiting Istanbul on a budget but still wanting quality and comfort, I highly recommend this hotel. It exceeded my expectations and made my trip even better.

Great Stay with Excellent Breakfast Buffet Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Holiday Inn in Istanbul. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet — it was delicious, well-varied, and offered excellent value. Honestly, there’s no need to look elsewhere for breakfast; it had everything we needed to start our days right. The rooms were a bit on the smaller side, but they were clean and comfortable, and overall the hotel offered great value for the price. The gym, while spacious, had older equipment and could have been cleaner. It’s not a major concern since most guests likely don’t use it, but it's something the hotel could improve on in the future. Overall, I would definitely recommend this Holiday Inn for anyone visiting Istanbul. It’s a great option with solid amenities and a fantastic breakfast to kick off your day.

Don't be fooled by the 5 star, I wish I'd stayed somewhere else. Thankfully it wasn't too expensive but the pictures and 5 star reviews certainly feels like a misrepresentation. The hotel is fantastically located right across from the T1 tram line station which can get you directly to the main attractions of the city. Rooms are mostly fine - the bed is very comfortable and the AC actually works, however the bathroom was in an awful state with mould around the bath, the shower screen not sealing so the floor floods with every shower and the sink leaking water from the drain onto the floor. Every time we left the room the key had to be redone so we could get back in, maybe the first time we accidentally put it near our phone it after that we made sure to keep it separate and safe....nope, still had to trek back to reception every single time. Food is overwhelmingly average. Drink prices are overinflated but you're forced to pay since you can't bring food/drinks from outside to the poolside area. At first I had no issues with the staff, they weren't overly friendly and happy but they did help us out so that's okay. After my last morning I have to change that and I'm now in agreement with the other reviews that have said there are some rude members of staff who are absolutely unwilling to help. If you want somewhere cheap and cheerful to stay this is it. If you want a fiver star experience, this place is a lie and you'd be better off elsewhere.
