Holiday Inn Istanbul Old City

The hotel is located in the old city within a reasonable distance of the grand bazaar. Parking is available under the hotel. Check-in was friendly and efficient. The lobby was adjacent to a bar and a lounge where food was available. My room was pleasant, comfortable and spacious, with pleasant decor. The bathroom was fitted with a good-sized shower. The finishing in the shower was poorly done and there was mould on the shower hose. The breakfast area was by the downstairs lounge. It was a buffet where eggs could be cooked to order. The coffee came from a machine and was tasty. Although the greeting to breakfast was pleasant, the staff were not very attentive to the buffet or the guests. These small negatives aside, I liked the room, the bed was wonderful and the location was interesting. I would stay there again.

Good experience with this hotel. Holiday Inn are quite reliable and you know what you are going to get with them in Turkey. The rooms was clean and suited our needs. The queen bed was perfect as our baby daughter could also sleep with us. The staff were friendly and helpful. Giğdem who works at the restaurant went over and beyond she is amazing. The only thing they could work on is a better breakfast menu for hot food only to have more variety. We noticed one of the milk bottles and cold salads went off but it was really warm

An incredible experience. My wife and I needed a place to crash on a layover in Istanbul. Not only was the hotel able to check us in early in the morning. But they were able to book us in a special room that was quiet, tucked away, and dark so that we could get some much-needed sleep. They catered to our every need as far as food was concerned. The beds were so comfortable, and the rooms were extremely clean. We're so thankful that we made this booking. The team there is phenomenal. They even were able to book us an amazing taxi rate back to the airport of only 1200 lira. Definitely stay if you can.
