My wife and I checked into the Holiday Inn in Krakow. And what a wonderful Hotel. This is we were welcomed wholeheartedly and with great friendliness. And the room was spotlessly clean and there was nothing that I could complain about which for me is unusual. All in all a wonderful stay and I would recommend staying here to anybody who was coming here to Krakow. Also, it's very conveniently located to the main Square here in the town and easy to get on to the tram to go to other places as well.
Stayed at the Holiday Inn Kraków City Centre while on vacation, and the location was spot-on—just a few minutes’ walk to the Main Square, with a tram stop right out front, which made exploring the city really easy. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were a few nice touches like robes in the room. There’s a mini-fridge, but it’s stocked as a minibar—so if you want to use it for your own stuff, you’ll have to break the seal and move things around a bit. AC kept the room comfortable, in that typical European way—enough to cool it down, but not icy. Staff were friendly, spoke great English, and made the stay easy. Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options and was a great way to start the day. Best option was ordering an omelet. The one downside: the elevators. One actually got stuck while we were inside. They’re clearly being maintained, and they were working on them while we were there, but they stop abruptly and don’t exactly inspire confidence. If you’re okay with stairs, it might be the better option. We did get a drink voucher for the inconvenience. All in all, though, the combination of great service, solid comfort, and a really convenient location makes it a strong choice if you’re staying in Kraków.
Very conveniently located hotel close to the old town of Krakow, and close to a major tram stop. The rooms feel quite outdated and I am not a fan of all the old textiles. But it is well maintained and does feel as clean as it can get. Bathroom was found spotless. The AC is of an old type and very hard to control - you wake up freezing in the middle of the night but it becomes too hot when you turn it off. Thankfully there is AC since Krakow can get very warm in summer. The staff is very nice and the quality of the food overall as well as the breakfast is good. All this compensates for some other aspects.
