Stayed at Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar and had a really pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and everyone, from the receptionist to the security staff, was genuinely friendly and helpful. Loved the little lounge area, great for relaxing. The breakfast buffet had a good spread, and while the pool was quite basic, everything else made up for it. A highlight for me was the in-room water filter dispenser, super convenient and eco-friendly. The location is also great, close to many places. Definitely planning to stay here again on our next KL trip.
The check-in experience was great, the room was good too. The housekeeping was nice. The morning breakfast was good too. The overall experience was good however to my surprise there was no in-room dining facility after 10 pm. And you really have to book food from outside. There are restaurants just opposite the hotel that opens until late however no service in hotel. A BIG room for improvement for the management. Thus the four star.
I stayed at this hotel for four consecutive nights, expecting a premium experience given that it’s a brand-new property. Unfortunately, I encountered several disappointing issues that made the stay far from comfortable. First, the sound insulation in the room is very poor. I could clearly hear conversations from the hallway, which disrupted my rest. Strangely, the corridor on my floor played background music continuously throughout the day and night. This is a hotel, not a nightclub. Guests come here to rest and sleep, not to be kept awake by 24/7 music in the hallways. There were also basic amenities missing,no bottled water was provided in the room. The air conditioning in Room 1802 was extremely noisy, making it hard to sleep. What was most baffling is that the hairdryer provided by the hotel couldn’t be used in the bathroom socket, something that should be standard in any hotel room. Overall, I had high expectations but was let down by both design decisions and operational oversights. I hope the hotel management seriously considers improving these aspects for future guests.
