Holiday Inn Kunming City Centre by IHG

First time stayer in this hotel, Wonderful staff, exceptional rooms in Central Location. Highly recommended as this where I shall be staying every time in Kunmin. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Rooms are good and clean. Not familiar with the central heater for the hotel, we felt hot and stuffy. The manager personally went up to attend to us and provided a solution. Shortly after they gave us an air cooler and a humidifier for our room throughout the 6 days we are in. Now that is outstanding service! Location is good. Next to a hospital and a big shopping centre. Even the train is a short walk from the hotel. Very convenient. A tip for travellers who have a lot of clothes to wash and wanted a cheaper option, there is a laundry 5 mins walk away from the hotel. Its exactly opposite the "Giant Bicycle Renmin East Road Specialty Store" in the other photo that I have provide.

Spacious room yet air conditioner is not working well. Welcoming receptionist but not communicating skill they have. 1/3 cannot speak English. The rest is okay and the others are okay with language application by mobile device. You need cap for swimming in hotel’s pool. Breakfast is quite in variety yet not enough staffs to take care guests when I need some little extra request on the basis hotel could provide. Good location, acceptable service-minded receptionists could guide you for traveling in the area . Quite good location.
