Holiday Inn Kunshan Huaqiao by IHG

We really liked the hotel. We had 2 rooms for 3 people. Got an upgrade for 1 room. The view of the lake was very nice. The room facilities were very good. You could make your own tea or coffee. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also good for us Europeans. We also tried the local food. We would book the hotel again if we came here again.

The AC in the room wasn’t working at all, room set for 19 degrees and it stays at 26. Everything wasn’t that bad until breakfast. Their dinning area is unable to accommodate its guests. They brought us to a room through a long hallway from the dinning area and share table with a bunch of strangers, with no utensils on the table which we have to look everywhere for them. At the Chinese pancake frying station, it’s completely out of pancakes and they let a non hotel staff to fry her own pancakes for over ten minutes as if there’s no management at this hotel. I guess no one needs to eat if they let every guest to make their own breakfast.
