We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for just one night, and it was a fantastic experience! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lovely Christina at check-in. She went above and beyond, taking the time to show us several rooms to help us find the perfect one for me, my wife, and our 3-year-old son. Her attention to detail and kindness made a great first impression. We also took advantage of the pool during our stay. While it wasn’t the biggest, it was definitely good enough for a quick swim and some fun with our little one. For dinner, we were taken care of by a beautiful lady named Peach. She was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt well looked after throughout our meal. A nice surprise was that our son’s meal was actually free, which was a lovely touch! Another bonus was when the hotel kindly waived our £15 charge, which was unexpected but very much appreciated. The price was also fantastic, especially considering breakfast was included. It was a great value for what we received, and having a hearty breakfast included definitely helped start our day off right. Overall, while our stay was short, we were so impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, the great value, and the overall quality of the hotel. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!
Excellent and very friendly service from all the staff from the minute we walked in. In particular servers Lala and Mandy went above and beyond to cater to our need and feel very welcome. The food amazing and full of flavour and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Would defiantly come again.
Cleaning standards are not up to par with a 4 star hotel. See pics attached. One night we were woken up at 1:30am by someone from Reception bringing fresh bedding to us (the wrong room). An honest mistake. Then Housekeeping knocked at 8:15am because apparently our room was on the list. I went to Reception to complain about the 2 times we had been woken up to be told that "that's what Housekeeping do". Bearing in mind that the check out time is 11:00am.
