This hotel was perfect for our family trip! We were consistently impressed by the super friendly staff, who made us feel very welcome. The prime location stood out, being only a three-minute stroll to the metro station – ideal for exploring the city and even reaching Austria by train. As parents, room hygiene was crucial, and we were delighted with how clean everything was. We also appreciated the abundance of nearby supermarkets and restaurants for quick meals and essentials
The location is fine - public transit is right there. The parking garage is expensive but clean and larger than the others I have experienced in Germany thus far. The service was nice, attentive, and worked with my broken German. The only gripe I have, and it was something else, is room related. I want to stress, other than this issue, this place is great. The room was beautiful, clean, had a really nice bathroom, AC worked well. But, and it was strong until the AC took effect - the room (4th floor) smelled very strongly of cat piss. Not to be vulgar for fun here - it was strong enough to warrant the use of piss over urine. Air conditioning and an open window aided in clearing this, but when out of room (the room key is used for electrical power, including AC), the smell would build again.
The breakfast has a big variety of options, highly recommended. The bedroom was clean, good view from the city. However, when I did the check in I felt discriminated by one of the receptionists, I think she was Italian, because of my nationality. She did a mean comment after checking my ID and barely explained how to reach my bedroom. Having this as the first approach I had with the hotel, didn’t make me feel welcomed at all.
