Holiday Inn Munich Westpark by IHG

Staying at this hotel for the first time, I can only confirm that the level of service is what you would expect at a great Holiday Inn. It’s certainly one of the best service received from Martin at the lobby, very knowledgeable, thoughtful and caring person. I travel a lot, usually stay at Holiday Inns and can easily confirm his service and helpfulness was unmatched. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a nice message from housekeeping team. WiFi was working perfectly. Overall, nothing to complain about. Well recommended, and will certainly stay again when back in Munich.

This was my 2nd stay at this location in the last 2 years and I will also surely consider booking this place during my future visits to Munich. The employees were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is well connected to Munich Hauptbahnhof and the important locations in the city by S bahn and U bahn.

Zero stars should be considered an option. The room was excessively hot, and there was no air conditioning available. The cooling provided was minimal, not even comparable to a fan, which is unacceptable. The website clearly states the presence of air conditioning, but this was not the case, constituting false advertising. The maximum temperature in the room reached 25.5°C, with a minimum of 25°C (77°F - 80°F), despite opening the window and using an additional fan. Please note that the outside temperature was only 26°C (80°F). There was no information on the website regarding relevant laws or regulations. The staff was as helpful as possible under the circumstances. Additionally, the heating and cooling system crashed so only cold showers in the morning. However, I was very disappointed with the experience. I would recommend considering alternative accommodations.
