Holiday Inn Norwich North

My partner and I just had our wedding here which was exceptional. Also as a guest before and after the wedding, the staff are amazing, the go above and beyond! It feels more like a family than hotel staff. The food you don't want to miss out on - one night i had the duck salad, wow it was everything and more. The room was clean and quiet. You won't be disappointed. Lovely little touches like the dog snack bar and poo bags, the water jugs as you enter reception with citrus fruits and apples in a bowl great after a long flight. The facilities are exactly what you need. We would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay and visit the surrounding areas. First and foremost what makes this place exceptional is the staff. Every single member of staff has been outstanding. So helpful and welcoming, thoughtful and just an absolute delight. The best service I have experienced at any hotel, honestly outstanding. The dog stations around the hotel are fantastic, dogs are definitely made welcome and easy to be here with. Plus a list of dog friendly eateries and close by dog walks available was a nice touch. I wouldn't say the food was amazing but it is to a good standard. The rooms could do with repainting, but the decor is calming just very worn but clean and comfortable. I would certainly come back, mainly because of the service.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn due to its convenient location right next to the airport, making it easy to reach the terminal with just a short walk across the street after checking out. When I first arrived, the room they assigned me had a broken extractor fan in the bathroom, which was incredibly noisy even with the door closed. While I typically don't mind small noises, this one was loud enough that it would have made for a restless night. I went to the front desk to request a room change, but there was no apology, and I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff. The new room was much better, but unfortunately, the window was wide open due to a broken handle, and it wouldn't close, leaving me with noise from outside all night.
