Myself and my friends had a really fantastic stay this weekend. The staff were kind, friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was lovely in the main bar and restaurant and the food was really enjoyable. Our rooms were beautifully clean and the quality of the furnishings and decor were modern and of a high standard. Location to the city is perfect with good connections. Thank you so much for the great hospitality!

Review: 2-Night Stay at Holiday Inn Oxford We had a very enjoyable two-night stay at the Holiday Inn Oxford. From the moment we arrived, we were given a warm and professional welcome by Georgi, who truly set the tone for our visit. When we got to our room, there were a couple of minor issues, but Georgi handled them immediately and went the extra mile to ensure everything was resolved quickly and to a high standard—his attention to detail and commitment to exceeding expectations really stood out. The hotel itself is in excellent condition throughout. Every area we visited was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The facilities are very good, and both the bar and restaurant offer an extensive and varied menu that caters to different tastes. Overall, this is a great place to stay. It’s conveniently located with easy access to major routes, and the staff are clearly dedicated to making a positive impression. We’d definitely stay again.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Oxford recently and would like to share my experience. The hotel has several positive aspects: the location is very convenient, with frequent buses to the city centre (approximately every 10 minutes), and a day ticket costs £5, which is excellent for visitors. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with good-sized beds and well-maintained bathrooms, all of which contributed to a pleasant environment. However, there are a few areas that require improvement. The hotel was undergoing construction during my stay, and it would have been helpful to be informed of this in advance, as it impacted the overall atmosphere. Additionally, while the rooms were well-appointed, I found the mattress extremely firm—even with a topper—which resulted in two nights of poor sleep. The pillows were also a single size and lacked comfort, with no alternatives available. Another important point is the parking. Before booking, the hotel’s website indicated that parking was included, but on arrival, we were charged £6 per day. This inconsistency was disappointing and should be clarified to avoid confusion for future guests. Overall, while the hotel offers good facilities and a convenient location, the lack of transparency and poor bedding comfort were significant drawbacks. I am unlikely to stay again—or if I do, I will definitely bring my own pillows.
