⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Excellent Stay Near the Airport!** I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Cagliari. The location is perfect—very close to the airport, which made my arrival and departure super convenient. The staff at reception were especially welcoming—Federica and Stefano went above and beyond to make me feel at home and helped with everything I needed. The swimming pool was a great bonus, perfect for relaxing after a long day. And I can’t forget to mention the refreshing mojito made by Cuban bartender Luisa at the bar—it was just what I needed. Highly recommend this hotel for both convenience and hospitality.

Initially the service was good at the reception desk, and overall, unfortunately only one of the two staffs spoke english and the other one was neither english speaking or into the routines and that can be challenging. I booked an upgraded room and it was alright. Air-conditioning was working, window wouldn't open at all, dirty, could barely see outside. spacious. The room was satisfactory, although the view was depressing but manageable. The bar had a good staff and decent choice, although sometimes i had to wait unnecessary long time (10min) and ask the front desk to call them twice. I broke my toe at the beach the first day and weren't able to walk, so i asked for the staff to please bring up something to eat and drink for me and given the circumstances if i could get the romservice complementary, they initially said no problem, then later changed their mind and tried to make me pay, then turned back again on their word and gave it free of charge but almost as a highly valued act of mercy. I felt like begging them after all that. Not the best breakfast, better to buy your own at a local grocery store the day before if you can. The pool is more a child pool than an adult pool and the area is in desperate need of a restoration, the fasade have several pieces missing and looks poorly taken care of. What actually made me drop my score was the fact that they hire a learning employee at the front desk, in a tourist busy season, and he's is neither routined nor speak english. In addition to the fact that when i ordered a taxi at the reception desk and cancelled it less than 60 seconds, back in my room, because of a change of meetings i didn't knew about, they made it look like my fault and it was actually the non english speaking staff that didn't understand me. I ordered the taxi to come no earlier than in 15 minutes minimum, then i cancelled it less than 60 seconds later, was called 5 minutes later and told that the taxi is waiting, told the english speaking staff that a mistake had been made, that i cancelled it immediately. The staff told me that they will cancel it for this time but that I from now on have to order my taxi by my self and tried their best to make me feel guilty about the case. I can say with certainty that this was the last time i booked a stay at this place.

Good option, less than 10min drive from the airport. Decent breakfast and bonus points for the pool.
