Easy to get to but a way out of the centre to easily explore the old part of Porto without a far amount of walking. The hills are steep so not easy if you have mobility issues. Hotel is lovely, clean and the restaurant is nice. Rooms are clean and very comfortable
Great stay! Rooms are super spacious and clean, the bar and restaurant area look modern and inviting, and the location is less than 20 minutes walk to World of Wine ( a must visit!!!). Only comment was that we waited for about 10-15 minutes at the front desk with nobody in line in front of us, while 3 staff were busy preparing for a group visit and nobody acknowledging us and avoiding us asking if we could check-in. They seemed overwhelmed. Other than the reception staff not seeming organized, the stay was fantastic.
Breakfast is amazing. Unfortunately I have to give the Holiday Inn a three star because I was very upset that they wanted me to pay €15 a day to go up to the patio/pool. That is unacceptable especially considering I'm a member of the Holiday Inn. Otherwise lovely hotel.
