Nice luxury resort for the family. This is very kid friendly and I personally would not recommended for those without families. Rooms are nice and clean. Not enough pool chairs or chairs in the shade, sometimes short on beach chairs. Breakfast buffet was actually pretty good. Room service dinner was cold and not very tasty. Limited and very basic drink menu at the bar. Overall pricey for Bali standards. They do a nice job of keeping the beach tidy. Due to building design, rooms can get loud - especially those facing to the inner courtyard pool. Staff were all very friendly. Security is present and rare hawkers at the beach. Motor sport beach activities available on site.
Leaving this review not to be negative, but to help other families like ours avoid disappointment. The staff were all genuinely lovely, but unfortunately the hotel didn’t meet our expectations as a family with two school-aged children (ages 7 and 10). The kids’ club resembled more of a daycare, and our children weren’t interested in attending. They also lost interest in the pool after a few hours. The kids’ meal portions were too small — more suited to toddlers than older kids. We had to book two hotel rooms for our family of four, which was fine in theory, but the adjoining rooms didn’t have an internal connecting door, so we weren’t actually staying together. Our rooms faced a laneway wall and the overall standard of the room didn’t make up for the lack of view. There was also no bathtub, which we expected from a resort hotel. Because the hotel is marketed as family-friendly, it was quite noisy, with babies and young children heard in the hallways late into the night and early in the morning. If I had read a review like this beforehand, I would have chosen a more appropriate hotel. In my view, this hotel is better suited to families with much younger children.
Upon our arrival at the hotel with my family and my friend’s family, we were received by the Assistant Manager. We handed him our confirmed bookings, which clearly stated 4 rooms with an ocean view. However, he gave us rooms with a side view facing a closed restaurant instead of the ocean. When we pointed out that these were not the rooms we had booked, he responded rudely, stating that these were the only rooms available and that we could either accept them or leave the hotel. I have traveled to many countries including Turkey, China, USA, Thailand, and the Gulf states, and I have never in my life encountered such unprofessional and impolite behavior—especially from a 5-star hotel and from someone in a managerial position. The next day, a staff member contacted us and provided dinner vouchers for both our families. We went to the restaurant, ordered food, but unfortunately, the food quality was extremely poor. The meat was undercooked, and none of us could eat more than a few bites. We left the food and returned to our rooms. Later that night, I suffered from food poisoning. I have not eaten anything from outside the hotel this day. I am still in the room, unable to eat constantly vomiting, and feeling very unwell due to the food served at the hotel. This tragic experience must be addressed seriously. I strongly warn other visitors about staying at this hotel, and I urge you to escalate this complaint to higher management, as people’s health should not be jeopardized by careless service. Additional remarks: - I booked a 5-day stay to enjoy and relax, yet many of the hotel’s facilities were not functioning. - The billiard table has been under maintenance since day one. - The ping-pong paddles are damaged and there are no balls available. - The outdoor pool jacuzzi is not operational. -Playing area TV is under maintenance . -Room TV is not SMART ( we are at 2025 no body use normal tv ) - The breakfast menu has been exactly the same for 5 consecutive days, even the fruits have not changed. This is truly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.
