Holiday Inn Resort Phuket an IHG Hotel

An absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived at Holiday Inn Resort, I was welcomed with warm smiles and professional service. The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help. A special thank you to Claudia — during a difficult time when I was injured, she stood by my side, supported me with patience and kindness, and always had a smile on her face. Her care meant the world to me. The entire team was amazing. I truly felt cared for every single day. Without a doubt, I will return to Phuket — and I won’t stay anywhere else. I’ll also be recommending this hotel to all my friends. Thank you from the heart ♥️

Room is very clean and cleaners do a great job. The areas outside are very nice and maintained well. The pool for guests is great and clean. The only negative for me is the breakfast included. The food is below standard with meat which is very overcooked and low quality. I suggest the hotel reevaluate how it trains its chefs on the food preparation. My wife experienced bad stomach aches just a day after we arrived. I’m not suggesting it’s the breakfast because that would be unreasonable, however, having noted how the food is cooked and allowed to be left open and not covered after servings are taken is not at all good for a 4* hotel. Please consider the feedback that customers leave. Update: I’m happy to share that the team responded to my earlier feedback immediately and with exemplary customer service. They were incredibly polite and proactive—without hesitation, they offered to freshly prepare a new batch of bacon to ensure it didn’t dry out, addressing my concern perfectly. It was served hot, crispy, and delicious! I truly appreciated the genuine effort they put in to make things right. This kind of responsiveness and attention to detail really sets them apart from hotels in the region 🤩

Great Stay, But Very Disappointed with Kids Club Management I stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Pocket for 7 nights with my family. Overall, the stay was pleasant, the food was good and the staff were friendly. However, our experience at the Kids Club on 2 August 2025 was extremely disappointing and needs to be addressed. The PlayStation area has 3, but one family was occupying two of them for over an hour and refused to allow others to play. Several families, including mine, were waiting, but the children from that family continued playing without interruption. The staff on duty tried to explain to the father that the games are meant to be shared, but he refused to cooperate. When we escalated the issue to the manager on duty, named Bryan, we expected a fair and firm decision. Unfortunately, he did not take any real action, he spent a long time talking to the father as he was buying time, while the kids continued playing and others kept waiting. No solution was reached, and we eventually had to leave, upset, frustrated, and disappointed. This is a shared facility meant for all guests, and it was unfair that the situation was allowed to continue for so long without action. The manager's lack of decisive response made the situation worse. I strongly urge the resort management to enforce clearer rules in the Kids Club and to train the team, especially managers, to take proper action when some guests are not being considerate. This incident negatively impacted our stay, and I hope future guests won’t have to experience the same.
