Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao

This review is for Sonya. Thank you for all what you've done for us. 2 nights= incredible memories.. Our bag got stuck in the the revolving door and same night we were locked out of the room, the master key didnt work too... they provided us another room to sleep at night. Later the upgraded us to the B.duck room. What a wonderful room. We will remember the days. May you remember us too forever 😅 Hope to be back soon. I remember the manager speaking to us about the gifts for kids. We forgot asking for it. 😂

The hotel was over booked and we were told our booking was cancelled because we arrived late. They even have called in the same day afternoon to confirm our arrival because they do not have enough room so they need to make sure we were coming. We told the customer representative that for sure we will be there but just will be a little late, yet they still canceled our room. Although they did apologized and book us another hotel close by. This is an unpleasant experience. The hotel they booked for us is a very old, not clean and smoky room 2-3 stars hotel. I couldn’t even find the hotel name from google map.
