Holiday Inn Slough Windsor

We stayed here before heading to Legoland with two young children. It was such a fantastic stay from start to finish. Kids were made welcome with an activity pack and a quiz about the hotel with a sweetie prize. Free kids buffet for tea which saved us going out to find food. Breakfast was great. Staff were all so attentive and kind. Hotel isn't of the highest standard but perfect for what we needed it for.

I was working in Slough so location was spot on. Hotel itself isn't located in an amazing location if you were inclined to go for a walk in the evening. People might be no trouble, its just a really run down and dirty area (I walked to work both days so saw enough). Room was surprisingly nice actually, stayed on 8th floor. Had top notch air conditioner, bathroom was big, great shower pressure and it was spotless. Ate in bar, food very nice. Bar itself nice to spend an hour or two in evening. Breakfast was OK. Ticked all the boxes. Functional hotel and the cost was reasonable too. Would happily stay again next time I'm working in the Slough area.

Beds really comfortable. Location good but its close proximity to legoland makes breakfast very very chaotic. Good option of location to windsor without staying in windsor. Took us less than 10 minutes to Windsor races and plenty of uber options. Would return just maybe without breakfast.
