What a lovely hotel. Fantastic and friendly service from all the staff. Especially the restaurant staff working on Saturday night the 21st June. We arrived late and wanted to eat and they were very welcoming and helpful. The room is lovely and the view of the airport is gorgeous. Not one fault! Clean, fresh, great food, hot and plentiful breakfast. Lovely staff, Rebecca was lovely as we checked out. Can't wait to visit again.

Comfy rooms. Clean and fairly well maintained. King size beds are two singles pushed together. Location is fantastic. Cheap and regular public transport into Southend and London Liverpool Street. Really quiet despite being next to an active airport. Staff need a raise.

Very disappointed with the service in this hotel. Upon arrival we were not welcomed and were just asked what my surname was. Very unprofessional start. We were issued with a sheet of paper which provided information of the facilities and breakfast times etc. It stated that the last seating for breakfast on the Sunday morning was 10.30 We arrived at 10.20 with a nice welcome and we ordered the vegan sausages. We were advised to wait until they arrived before we got the reat of our food. We hadn't even sat down with our breakfast and the staff began clearing everything at 10.30 !! When questioned they said breakfast finishes at 10.30 which completely contradicts the information we were given. The staff said it was a miscommunication at reception. Clearly not. We had already paid for breakfast but we didn't even have the opportunity to return to the buffet. This is totally unacceptable and a complete waste of our money. We paid for a service that we did not recieve. Will not be back after this appalling service.
