Holiday Inn & Suites Siracha Laemchabang by IHG

The breakfast here is seriously fantastic – they have loads of yummy options! And the facilities? Definitely a huge plus! I was so happy to see an onsen, a gym, and a swimming pool – such a treat. The only little bummer was that they don't have an EV charger, which would have been super handy. Now, while the view wasn't anything particularly special, honestly, the awesome facilities more than made up for it. Plus, how convenient is it to have a KFC and a 7-Eleven literally right outside the hotel? Talk about easy for snacks or anything you might need! The service was generally pretty standard. However, I did have a bit of a confusing experience with the front desk. I asked about finding an EV charging station, and the staff member confidently told me there was one at the gas station right next door. So, off we went, driving around to find it, but… nope, no EV charger there. It would be so much better if the staff just said they didn't know for sure, you know? Especially when you're running low on battery, the last thing you want is to waste time and energy driving around on a wild goose chase for EV station in the unknown locations. Also, I had a bit of an odd encounter with the housekeeper. I was trying to have a bit of a lie-in around 9 am (it's a holiday, after all!), and then there was this really loud noise right outside my door. It kind of startled me, and when I opened it, it was the housekeeper asking if I wanted my room cleaned. I thought that was a little… unexpected? Maybe some training on timing would be helpful? It seems like when guests are still in their rooms, especially before noon on a holiday, it might be better clean the checkout rooms not the ones that guests are staying. Just a thought!

There doesn’t seem to be much to explore near the hotel. There’s a small plaza across the street with a 7-11 and a KFC. Unfortunately, the Korean restaurant and the Japanese restaurant are both shut down. The hotel lobby is pretty spacious, but the restaurant/bar area to the right side of the lobby are pretty small. Found out the breakfast buffet is on the 8th floor next to the pool and gym. The room itself isn’t huge and has a small tv, but the bathroom is decent, well lit, and has a huge walk-in shower. The sink is a bit too low for someone over 180cm, but quite usable. On the lower right corner of the picture I Uploaded is the 7-11 plaza. FYI, that 7-11 does not sell beer/wine/liquor.

Checked into room 2314 with my wife on 3 July 25 for a business trip to Thailand. Have lived here for a month now and found the all the staff to be friendly and attentive. Especially the evening crew in the restaurant on the ground floor. Thank-you for the introduction to many delicious Thai food. Thank you also the housekeeping staff for working so hard to keep our stay here comfortable and pleasant Very responsive team 👏 👌
