Holiday Inn Taunton

Will definitely be returning! This is the first time I’ve stayed here while visiting family & what a great stay we had. My mother and I shared a twin room, it was clean and comfortable, no complaint at all. Bar service on the evening was great as was breakfast. Wonderful, friendly and attentive staff. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed here as attending a wedding. Room was large and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Fridge in the room too along with ironing board and iron. Yummy complementary biscuits and plenty of tea and coffee sachets. The only issue is that we struggled to cool the room down as the air con rather weak and struggling! We had breakfast which was rather hit and miss! The continental breakfast was excellent however my husbands cooked version left rather a lot to be desired. Fatty bacon - hard eggs - overcooked hash browns and so on. The toasting machine appeared to only toast one side - put it in again and you had a burnt offering!!

🌟 Honest and friendly stay with standout service I stayed at the hotel with my family. The rooms were decent in size and comfort. However, the cleanliness of the bedsheets and pillowcases on arrival wasn't ideal — I had to ask for replacements. Thankfully, the staff responded to the request. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The dinner wasn't particularly fancy, but it was satisfying and nicely prepared. Breakfast had a good variety. One thing that stood out was the staff — polite, helpful, and genuinely friendly. I’d especially like to thank Immy in the restaurant, who was very patient when taking our family’s dinner orders. She made us feel welcome and looked after. All in all, a pleasant stay.
