James liu was polite enough, helped us in providing good rooms and food (breakfast). Stayed there for 3days. Got few complementary service aswell. Would like to visit again.
Holiday Inn Beijing Temple of Heaven From the moment we arrived, the warm and efficient welcome set the tone for our stay. The hotel was well-prepared for our large group, making check-in seamless. One convenient detail was that we were immediately offered a tour to the Great Wall, making it easy to plan our visit right from the start. A special mention goes to the airport transfer service—the driver went all the way to the exit to personally guide us to the bus, which was incredibly helpful, especially for those unfamiliar with the airport layout. The hotel itself is spacious and beautifully designed, offering a great breakfast buffet with plenty of options. The rooms are extremely comfortable—though mine wasn’t particularly large, it had everything I needed. I was also impressed by the attentiveness of the front desk staff. At one point, I accidentally left my passport behind, and they wasted no time in bringing it straight to my room. Every time I walked through the lobby, someone was ready to assist, demonstrating their genuine commitment to guest service. The property is located close to many restaurants and grocery shopping, which is very convenient but far from main attractions and metro stations. The gym, while the equipment isn’t the newest, the space is well-maintained and has everything needed for a solid workout. As for the Great Wall tour, I appreciated the early departure to avoid the crowds—a well-thought-out detail. However, on the way back, we were unexpectedly taken to a tea sales presentation that lasted nearly an hour. While the presentation was interesting, the lack of prior notice, combined with our limited time, made it feel like an unnecessary detour. Unfortunately, this delay also led to us getting caught in heavy traffic on the way back. Overall, while this isn’t one of my absolute favorite hotels, the experience was still positive. The staff made a real effort to communicate in English and ensure we had everything we needed, which left a great impression. XOXO, Crew Wellness Hub
10 minutes walk from Puhuangyu subway station.Lots of supermarkets and places to eat around the area. The buffet breakfasts are excellent. The cleaning staff do a wonderful job.The rooms are spacious and the views are pleasant on a clear day.The bed was extremely comfortable. Sure,it isn't a brand new hotel but it is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.Small gym and swimming pool as well. It would be great if the staff at the front desk were more fluent in English, but they get by with their personal translation devices. I will miss the daily flight of the pigeons from a neighbouring apartment building....would definitely book again....
