A Profoundly Disappointing Stay at Holiday Park Resort Our recent trip to Holiday Park Resort was an exercise in frustration and disappointment. My group of seven, who had booked and paid for three separate rooms, was met with a significant overbooking issue upon check-in. This forced two of our families to cram into a single, substandard duplex room for the first night. The promised "sea-view upgrade" that followed was a poor consolation, as our new rooms were still dirty and poorly maintained. The most concerning part of our stay was the disastrous food quality. It was so unappealing and seemingly unhygienic that four members of our group became ill. The fear of getting sick spread quickly, and for the entire week, my diet consisted of nothing but bland french fries and salad, as it was the only thing that felt safe to eat. The "all-inclusive" dining was not a benefit; it was a health risk. Beyond the food, the service was consistently bad. The reception staff was rude and unhelpful, and a smile was a rare sight among the employees. While one of our rooms was completely neglected in terms of cleaning and amenities, the overall lack of care from the staff was a theme throughout our stay. This hotel claims to be a five-star resort, but in reality, it fails on every fundamental level, from basic hygiene to customer service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values their health or wants a pleasant vacation.
Natasha from reception was very rude, ruined my day I just asked normally, she started to talk very rude and treated me like Im stupid. We stayed in many hotels across the world, but this was not that I accepted from 5 star hotel. I wanted to write an amazing feedback, however, staff attitude is just made all went down to the drain… Highly not recommended!!! Closed my eyes to the fact that this hotel not matching 5* hotels standards but this Natasha made me angry within 5 seconds, I didn’t even talk rude, just asked kindly I also have staff to manage and understand if they tired, but this is just a huge mistake from management that not controlling and noticing this kind of attitude to the guest. Want to leave this hotel asap and never come back again.
We don't recommend this hotel at all, choose some other place, like seriously! Most of the positive reviews must be written by bots. We travelled there with a family of four people and with another family of friends of four people. It's not a 5-star hotel, it's a solid 3-star hotel at best. Food selection and it's taste was mostly awful! Breakfasts were the worst, lunches were a bit better, and the dinners were the only mealtimes that were OK. Drinks selection was also mediocre at best, the juices there are simply undrinkable, the alcohol quality is the cheapest one and thus the cocktails that were made from such ingredients were abysmal! The rooms were clean upon arrival, but during the stay they were barely cleaned! Room service always forgot to do something, either place new toilet paper, or forgot a fresh towel for some of us, etc. There was broken stuff in the room, the ceiling lamp fell out, a power socket fell out, one of the beds had broken corners, the balcony door didn't shut completely, some of those issues got fixed, some were not. The hotel also lost one of our clothing items, that we ordered to get cleaned. We also got 50€ stolen from a bag in the room during the stay, obviously by the cleaning. After speaking with the hotel reception/management about it, THEY told us that we had to call the police, and only after we called the police, they told us we would have to call paid translators that cost 300€!!! What a joke. The police was also not helpful at all, told us to either drive with them to the police station (and where we would really have to order paid translators), or to sign a document in Turkish language that APPARENTLY said that we don't have any claims to the hotel, they didn't let us even take a picture of that document to translate it. Also, later got threatened by the hotel staff that we wouldn't be able to check out from the hotel until we sign that document. Of course, we declined, and we had to call our tour agency to settle that situation. The worst of all is, of course, the hotel's service quality at the reception, they just don't care! The only thing we liked was the hotel's territory, they have their own access to the beach, which was nice. Also, the entertainment in the evenings was nice. And another thing: this might or might not be related to the hotel, but three people from our family, including myself, got poisoning for one day from something, we had diarrhea and vomited. From the family of 4 friends that were travelling with us, also one got the poisoning. And no, we didn't drink tap water, of course. It's just that a lot of other recent reviews are mentioning the same thing.
