Hollins Hall Hotel Spa & Golf

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and were very impressed with the 4-poster suite we booked. The room was the epitome of modern luxury and made our visit feel truly special. The suite itself was perfect – spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The only real surprise was the lack of air conditioning, which we would have expected in a premium room like this. The main downside to our comfort was the mattress, which was extremely firm. Additionally, the double bed was comprised of two single mattresses pushed together, which created an uncomfortable seam in the middle. A minor frustration was the lighting system. While very modern, the array of buttons was overly complicated for a short stay, and it was difficult to remember which button did what without having to read the diagram every time. I also had a brief look at some of the other rooms and noted that while the bathrooms appeared somewhat dated in style so it looks like the hotel is going through a staggered update schedule, however they were, like the rest of the hotel, very clean and perfectly functional. Despite these small issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it, especially if you're booking one of the wonderful suites.

We spend 2 nights in this very beautiful hotel. The staff was friendly and nice. The place in the countryside, very quite place to relax. Nice garden and the golf course even good for walk in the nature. Well equipped rooms, very clean bathroom, comfortable beds. Just the pilots are high and only 1 type. Definitely I would recommend this hotel!

Stayed for a one night golf trip through golf breaks. The bedroom was fit for the purpose of a one night stay. Smart TV could have given you a bit more access to the app side of things but the room was clean and the beds were comfy. The evening meal was great! Started, main and dessert were all delicious and the service from the staff was good. Hollins golf course was good but could use some work. Layout was fine and was easy to navigate. The tee boxes and greens could definitely do with work, but they were playable. Overall a good stay.
