Hollywood Beach Resort Family Oriented Affordable Studio

We stayed in a privately owned unit (225) and had a good experience. Our unit was clean and had all the basics. The resort itself is very old and most of the commercial spaces are abandoned. The common areas are still originally furnished and the structure itself is badly in need of renovation, so if you are looking for fancy and modern this isn’t the place for you. That said, the facilities were clean and security did a fabulous job of keeping things quiet. The hotel front desk staff wasn’t the best but since we were renting from an owner, we didn’t have a lot of dealings with them. The one problem we experienced was that everything smelled like marijuana. Although a non-smoking facility, it was obvious people do smoke...probably in the private units. We didn’t smell cigarettes so there was at least that. The old elevators were particularly smelly and a bit scary at times. The location was nice. The ghost legends attached to the hotel are an interesting addition and overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I came from Boston and I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Pool is closed garage is closed loud jack hammers all day from 730am on not activities to do at this particular resort what so ever. Communication at this hotel is terrible. Never returning!
