Hollywood Volume A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

My husband I stayed here for one night to check out a local favorite bar in the area and we also needed a place to stay the night before our cruise. This hotel exceeded my expectations! The decor was modern, but warm and bright. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We requested in our notes to be placed in a room away from the hotel bar so we could sleep easily and that request was accommodated. We did enjoy the hotel bar though :) The room was a bit small, but honestly so beautiful and well laid out, the tighter space functioned well for our one night there. The lobby and dining areas were stunning, clean, bright and airy. Will definitely stay again if in the area!

Don’t let any negative reviews put you off. This hotel is amazing. Yes, rooms are not huge but for a city centre location they are great and comfortable. Hotel has a really cool vibe and rooftop pool is fantastic. Complimentary coffee in morning and complimentary beers and wine between 5 & 6pm all add to the experience. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Definitely recommend this cool hotel just off Hollywood Boulevard .

This is an excellent property for the price and value. The rooms are small but a good size if you get upgraded with Marriott Status. Ask for the lower floors during Fri/Sat. The restaurant and rooftop are nice. The gym is small but clean and works with all the needed equipment. I am a Marriott Ambassador member and I did not experience many of the issues that other reviews complain about. Often boutique properties do not translate that Marriott status - in this case they did. The beds are comfortable, water pressure is excellent in the shower and the lighting in the rooms is great. Plenty of water bottles and coffee/tea choices. There is a destination fee but you can use that for coffee/food
