Stayed for two nights and was not disappointed. The room was large and spacious with a king sized sleigh bed (so anyone over six feet tall can comfortably stretch out) and bathroom with roll-top bath and period fixtures and fittings. There were also high ceilings due to the era this property is from and the decor has been kept pretty much in keeping with that time period so it has a nice atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, extremely tasty and well presented, the service was first rate and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Such a Victorian era touch to the hotel. Lovely staff and so welcoming and friendly. Only drawback, no reception service after 7 pm until 7 am next morning. Breakfast is served to you old style.
